Job summary

Precision Medicine Group seeks a Senior Scientific Director, Flow Cytometry to lead development and validation of Flow Cytometry assays for clinical and non-clinical studies. You will mentor staff, ensure scientific rigor, and guide assay development while maintaining regulatory compliance and engaging with QA and project managers.

Ideal candidate has extensive Flow Cytometry experience, strong communication skills, and a track record in leading audits and regulatory guidance adherence.

Qualifications

• PhD in life sciences or related field with extensive full-time lab experience (18+ years)
• 10 years of management experience
• Solid understanding of GxP/CAP/CLIA/ISO standards
• GLP/GCLP/CLIA regulatory compliance experience

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific activities, regulatory compliance, staff management and client-delivered metrics.
• Mentor Flow Cytometry staff; ensure method development and validation meets timelines.
• Direct scientific staff to maintain standards and comply with Precision procedures and regulatory expectations.
• Act as Technical Lead for Flow Cytometry projects and participate in audits as needed.
• Lead study design, data analysis, and timely delivery of results to clients.
• Develop and review procedures, study plans, and assay validation reports.
• Identify new techniques and collaborate with other teams.
• Prepare abstracts or papers to maintain scientific profile.
• Troubleshoot and resolve routine scientific issues promptly.
• Interface with clients for project communication and product delivery.
