Job summary

Precision Medicine Group in Frederick, MD is seeking a Scientist to drive flow cytometry projects, including assay development, validation and execution. You will design experiments, analyze data, and help improve SOPs while supporting other cell-based assays.

The role requires a Master’s degree in life sciences and at least five years of relevant laboratory experience, plus expert flow cytometry on whole blood and isolated cells. Strong data skills and collaboration with teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Expert level flow cytometry skills on whole blood and isolated cells.
• Strong data organization and reporting ability.
• Proficiency with common software for data analysis and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform Flow cytometry as primary assay and other immune assays.
• Design and perform experiments, analyze data, and present results.
• Assist in establishing and updating SOPs and documentation.
• Troubleshoot scientific issues and implement new techniques.
• Collaborate with technical teams and support equipment qualifications.
• Prepare reports and contribute to publications and proposals.
