Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Senior Research Associate for the Clinical Flow Cytometry group to serve as a technical expert in generating high-parameter flow cytometry data under GCLP guidelines for clinical programs. You will develop cell-based assays, validate fit-for-purpose methods, and run clinical sample testing to deliver quality data for trials.

Responsibilities include high parameter immunophenotyping of PBMCs, whole blood, and tissues, PBMC isolation/cryopreservation, and independent execution

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Immunology, Life Sciences, Biology, or related field.
• 3+ years lab experience with flow cytometry and clinical sample handling.
• Experience in regulated lab environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute clinical sample testing under GCLP guidelines.
• Perform high parameter immunophenotyping on PBMCs, whole blood, and tissue samples.
• Isolate and cryopreserve PBMCs from blood products.
• Run experiments from sample prep to acquisition and analyze data with FCSExpress.
• Participate in assay development and validation under Study Lead guidance.
• Identify and test new laboratory techniques and improve workflows.
• Assist in general lab organization and maintain safe practices.
