Precision Medicine Group seeks a Senior Scientific Director, Flow Cytometry to lead assay development and validation for clinical and non-clinical studies. The role demands a PhD-level life sciences background with extensive management experience and deep regulatory knowledge.

You will mentor staff, drive method development, ensure compliance with GxP/CAP/CLIA standards, and collaborate with QA and project teams to deliver high-quality results for clients.

Qualifications

• - PhD in life sciences or relevant field with 18+ years of full-time relevant lab experience or equivalent combo.
• - 10 years of management experience.
• - Solid understanding of GxP, CAP/CLIA/ISO standards.
• - Experience in GLP, GCLP or CLIA regulatory compliance.
• - Expert level human flow cytometry assay experience.
• - Experience handling plasma, serum, and PBMCs.
• - Experience developing flow cytometry panels on fresh and fixed cells.
• - Strong data organization and reporting skills.
• - Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gen5 and GraphPad Prism.

Responsibilities

• Lead all scientific activities and regulatory compliance for Flow Cytometry.
• Mentor staff; ensure method development, validation, quality and timelines.
• Direct scientific staff to uphold standards and regulatory expectations.
• Engage with QA and project managers for client communication.
• Serve as Technical Lead for Flow Cytometry projects and investigations.
• Draft and review SOPs, study plans, validation/verification reports.
• Present work at meetings or in publications when appropriate.
