Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. at Edwards AFB, CA, seeks Principal/Senior Principal Flight Test Engineers for its Test and Evaluation organization.

The role is 100% on-site at Edwards AFB, supporting multiple aircraft platforms and leading test plans, data analysis, and mission-control operations. Basic qualifications include a STEM degree and a Secret clearance with SAP eligibility; preferred qualifications include fuels systems, control room operations, and test experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field (BS or MS acceptable).
• 5+ years of applicable experience with BS or 3 years with MS in STEM.
• Active US Government Secret clearance (with background investigation within past 6 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance as required by business needs.
• For Sr Principal: 8+ years with BS or 6+ years with MS in STEM; Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Integrated Test Plans, detailed test plans, test schedules and test procedures for developmental testing.
• Provide laboratory support for integration testing and host test planning working groups.
• Interface with design and analysis teams to define test configuration and data requirements.
• Review and evaluate test requirements for completeness of program.
• Perform system-level analyses and produce comprehensive evaluations.
• Support readiness reviews, pre/post-test briefings and data analyses for anomaly resolution.
