Job summary

Leidos is seeking Systems Integration and Test Engineers to join the Air Traffic Business Area within the Homeland Sector, supporting next-generation flight service and air traffic systems. The role emphasizes integrating and testing software for flight planning and related services, in a government program that requires Public Trust eligibility.

You will work in a Scaled Agile environment, contributing to the execution of programs integrating cloud-native capabilities with proven technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4–8 years of professional experience, or a related master's degree with 2–6 years of experience.
• Experience with Agile methodology, principles, and tools.
• Developed and executed automated system integration and test solutions.
• Ability to obtain SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
• Experience following a documented Integration and Test Development Process.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.
• Strong integration skills with hands-on experience integrating large software–complex systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to verify software functionality, performance, and compliance with requirements in an Agile environment.
• Debug system level issues and provide detailed supporting data on identified issues.
• Document and track system defects and verify fixes; understand System Level Requirements.
• Learn system architecture, design, functions and capabilities to support integration and testing of new capabilities.
• Perform system checkouts in physical and virtual test labs to ensure the system is properly configured for testing.
• Execute manual and automated regression test procedures after software modification and lab patching.
• Collaborate in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
