Job summary

Leidos is seeking Systems Integration and Test Engineers to join the Air Traffic Business Area within the Homeland Sector, supporting the development of next-generation flight service and air traffic systems for FAA modernization. The role includes a balanced onsite/remote schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) across Gaithersburg, MD; Ashburn, VA; or Eagan, MN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Ability to obtain SF-85P Public Trust clearance.
• Experience following an Integration and Test Development Process.
• Experience developing and executing automated system integration and test solutions.
• Strong integration skills with hands-on experience integrating large software systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to verify software functionality, performance, and compliance with requirements in an Agile environment.
• Debug system level issues and provide detailed supporting data on identified issues.
• Document and track system defects and verify fixes.
• Understand System Level Requirements.
• Learn system architecture, design, functions and capabilities to support integration and test of new capabilities.
• Perform system checkouts in physical and virtual test labs to ensure system is properly configured and ready for testing.
• Execute manual and automated regression test procedures after software modifications.
• Work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
