Job summary

Leidos seeks Systems Integration and Test Engineers to join the Air Traffic Business Area in the Homeland Sector, supporting FAA modernization of flight service and air traffic systems. Role emphasizes cloud-native solutions for remote, safety-critical aviation environments and integration within a Scaled Agile program.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver verified outcomes in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment, including eligibility for Public Trust investigation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience or Master’s with 7+ years in a related field.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, principles, and tools.
• Ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
• Experience following a documented Integration and Test Development Process.
• Developed and executed automated system integration and test solutions.
• Experience using UNIX and Linux operating systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with System Engineering to develop integration and verification plans mapping requirements to tests.
• Understand system level requirements and perform system interface checkouts.
• Analyze issues with System Engineering and Software to devise solutions.
• Learn system architecture to support integration and new capabilities.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans and procedures verifying software functionality.
• Debug system-level issues and provide detailed data on defects.
• Document and track system defects and verify fixes.
• Perform testing in physical and virtual labs with customer presence.
• Execute manual and automated test procedures ensuring proper configuration.
• Coordinate activities and plans with customer and Leidos personnel.
• Perform formal test execution with customer and QA teams present.
• Demonstrate test execution to customer to achieve acceptance per release.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation.
