Job summary

Leidos is seeking Systems Integration and Test Engineers to support the development of next-generation flight service and air traffic systems. This role offers a balanced onsite schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) across Gaithersburg, MD; Ashburn, VA; or Eagan, MN, within the Homeland Sector and FAA modernization efforts.

You will design, develop, and execute test plans, debug system issues, and verify fixes in a regulated, safety-critical environment, requiring a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain SF-85P Public Trust clearance from FAA customer.
• Experience following a documented Integration and Test Development Process.
• Experience developing and executing automated system integration and test solutions.
• Strong integration skills with hands-on experience integrating large software systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to verify software functionality in an Agile environment.
• Debug system level issues and provide detailed data.
• Document and track system defects and verify fixes.
• Understand System Level Requirements.
• Learn system architecture and capabilities to support integration and test.
• Perform system checkouts in physical and virtual test labs.
• Execute manual and automated regression tests after software changes.
• Work in a team-oriented environment.
