Job summary

Leidos is seeking Systems Integration and Test Engineers to join the Air Traffic Business Area within the Homeland Sector, supporting the modernization of flight service and air traffic systems with scalable, cloud-based platforms intended to improve safety and efficiency.

You will work in a Scaled Agile environment to integrate and test software for flight planning and related services, supporting government programs and maintaining eligibility for a Public Trust clearance while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 9+ years of professional experience or Master's degree with 7+ years.
• Experience and familiarity with Agile methodology, principles, and tools.
• Ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
• Experience following a documented Integration and Test Development Process.
• Developed and executed automated system integration and test solutions.
• Experience in the use of UNIX and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining automated test suites.
• Strong integration skills with hands-on experience integrating large software complex systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with internal and external customers.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with System Engineering to develop integration and verification plans mapping requirements to test cases and traceability.
• Understand System Level Requirements and perform system interface checkouts.
• Analyze issues with System Engineering and Software to develop solutions.
• Learn system architecture and capabilities to support integration and testing of new features.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and procedures verifying functionality and performance.
• Debug system level issues and provide supporting data.
• Document and track system defects and verify fixes.
• Perform testing in physical and virtual labs ensuring readiness for customer execution.
• Execute manual and automated tests to verify proper system configuration.
• Coordinate activities with the customer and Leidos personnel.
• Perform formal test execution with customer and QA teams present.
• Demonstrate test execution to customer for content release approval.
