Job summary

Leidos is seeking Systems Integration and Test Engineers to support the Air Traffic Business Area within Homeland Security. The role focuses on integrating and testing software for flight planning and other services, supporting government programs, and maintaining eligibility for a Public Trust investigation.

You will work in a scaled agile environment with cross-functional teams, contributing to cloud-based platforms and safety-critical aviation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience or master’s degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, principles, and tools.
• Ability to obtain SF-85P Public Trust clearance.
• Experience following a documented Integration and Test Development Process.
• Developed and executed automated system integration and test solutions.
• Experience in UNIX and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining automated test suites.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• US Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with System Engineering to develop integration and verification plans mapping requirements to tests.
• Understand System Level Requirements and perform system interface checkouts.
• Analyze issues with System Engineering and Software to develop solutions.
• Learn system architecture to support integration and testing of new capabilities.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to verify software.
• Debug system level issues and provide supporting data.
• Document and track system defects and verify fixes.
• Perform testing in physical and virtual labs with customer presence.
• Execute manual and automated test procedures to verify proper configuration.
• Coordinate activities with the customer and Leidos personnel.
• Perform formal test execution with customer and QA teams.
• Demonstrate test execution to customer to achieve acceptance.
