Job summary

Reliable Robotics in California's San Diego area is seeking a Sr. Flight Software Verification Engineer to verify embedded software that interfaces with sensors and control systems and to support verification in flight hardware labs.

You will plan flight tests and oversee DO-178C verification across the autonomy stack, enabling safe automated flight. Applicants should have 5+ years of C/C++ experience, a Bachelor's degree in CS or AE, and proven ability in safety-critical software verification

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with C or C++
• Experience in safety-critical verification of software to achieve DO-178C objectives or comparable standard
• Experience with requirements based testing in unit test and Hardware-In-The-Loop environments
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Be a key contributor to the DO-178C verification strategy and implementation
• Create tooling to provide an effective and compliant environment for software verification
• Oversee and author test development
• Perform tool qualification in accordance with DO-178C/DO-330
