Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems, a subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, seeks a Sr Flight Software Engineer to join our Palo Alto, CA team (remote within the U.S. with periodic visits). You will design and implement embedded software for RTOS, develop architectures, and drive verification plans for flight software systems.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship or permanent residence, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 8 years of software development, Embedded C++ on multicore architectures, VxWorks

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field; four additional years of experience may substitute.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• Embedded C++ programming on multicore architectures.
• VxWorks and cFS experience.
• Ability to travel to Palo Alto, CA office as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software for embedded RTOS.
• Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for flight software systems.
• Develop software verification plans, unit level and open loop test suites, and procedures, executing test procedures and documenting test results to ensure that software system requirements are met.
• Perform software product life cycle management.
• Develop, select, tailor, and deploy software processes, tools, and metrics.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for software domains, processes, and system-specific issues.
