Job summary

Lanteris Space LLC in Palo Alto, CA, seeks a Principal Embedded Flight Software Engineer to design and implement embedded RTOS software for flight systems, with emphasis on robust architectures and verification.

You will work on NASA Artemis Power Propulsion Element projects, contribute to software life cycle management, and collaborate across teams. Remote work within the U.S. is possible with periodic visits to Palo Alto.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, CS, or related field; four additional years may substitute for a degree.
• 15 years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software for embedded RTOS.
• Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces, and designs for flight software.
• Develop software verification plans, unit tests, and test procedures; document results.
• Perform software product life cycle management.
• Develop, select, tailor, and deploy software processes, tools, and metrics.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for software domains and system-specific issues.
