Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Driver Trainee/Trainer to deliver and improve training for Driver Trainees across Regional Training Centers. You will provide expert guidance, deliver classroom and virtual sessions, and support change initiatives while aligning with Fleet Development goals.

Ideal candidates have a CDL with Hazmat, 3+ years of Class A driving, and a passion for safety and mentorship. This role includes travel to multiple training locations and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current interstate CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• 3 years of Class A tractor/trailer driving in the last 7 years.
• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• Must pass background check and comply with safety standards.
• Ability to train and coach Driver Trainees and collaborate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead driver training programs and facilitation of classroom and virtual sessions.
• Provide feedback and support to Driver Trainees and Fleet Development leadership.
• Ensure One Best Way compliance across Regional Training Centers.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement training and process improvements.
• Monitor VR training and other delivery modalities for effectiveness.
