Job summary

Walmart in Loveland, CO is seeking a Driver Training Specialist to develop and deliver training for Driver Trainees across regional training centers. The role focuses on building competencies, coordinating content delivery, and applying best practices to improve safety and efficiency.

You will facilitate sessions, assess classroom outcomes, and work with Fleet Development leaders to implement change initiatives while upholding Walmart's values and standards.

Qualifications

• Interstate Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 120 days).
• 3 years’ Class A tractor/trailer driving in last 7 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in last 3 years.
• No DUI/DWI/OUI/reckless driving in last 10 years.
• No preventable DOT accidents in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and improve action plans to meet customer and business needs.
• Train Driver Trainees through content teaching-back and facilitation.
• Build stakeholder relationships and monitor progress/results.
• Conduct One Best Way audits and compliance reviews in training centers.
• Support change initiatives and classroom training across centers.
• Deliver training via multiple modalities including VR and classroom.
