Job summary

The SYGMA Network is seeking a Fleet Technician to assist in providing safe and cost-efficient fleet services. You will learn to perform preventive maintenance inspections, quality repairs, and diagnose issues to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime across tractors, trailers, and related equipment.

You will document work in SAP, follow company maintenance procedures, and develop efficiency with Sysco maintenance systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with 2 Year Technical Degree OR

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment (tractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift gates, light-duty vehicles) to maximize safety and reliability.
• Perform maintenance repairs per company methods to maximize safety and reliability on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including engines, transmissions and related systems.
• Document all work on SAP Work Orders using standard format.
• Learn and develop efficiency in all Maintenance Relate Sysco Computer programs.
