Job summary

Sysco is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to provide safe, reliable maintenance and expert diagnosis for the company’s vehicle fleet. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on tractors, trailers, and related equipment to maximize safety, reliability and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include annual inspections (FAI/CVI), diagnosis of engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC and lift-gate systems, plus documentation of all work orders.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment to maximize safety and reliability.
• Perform annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles per regulatory requirements.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, and lift-gate systems.
• Document all work orders and mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Operate and maintain electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
