Job summary

The City of Chandler Fleet Services Division is seeking a Fleet Services Senior Technician with CDL to join a dedicated team. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., with a focus on preventative maintenance, repair, and installation across a range of light to heavy equipment. The role requires 3 years of automotive mechanic experience, plus A/C refrigerant recovery and ASE certifications within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/technical training in automotive or heavy equipment repair.
• 3 years of skilled automotive mechanic experience, including heavy-duty equipment.
• A/C refrigerant recovery certification and ASE certification within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable record; Class B CDL within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on light to heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Install and service fleet vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with team to meet City fleet needs.
