Job summary

Exelon Corporation in Oakbrook Terrace, IL seeks a Fleet Operations Manager to lead regional Fleet Services maintenance facilities, optimize vehicle performance, and manage budgets while collaborating with affiliates to meet requirements. The role may require extended hours during storms or energy delivery emergencies.

You will oversee asset management, data analysis, reporting, and disaster recovery planning, ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering is required as stated.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a high-performance work culture.
• Experience developing and implementing process enhancements and efficiencies.
• Proven high performance in safety and regulatory adherence.
• Expertise in technical and diagnostic skills with vehicle systems.
• Experience with forensic accident investigation (Root Cause/Failure Analysis).
• Knowledge of local, state and federal transportation regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel and Fleet systems.

Responsibilities

• Governance and oversight of asset management, fuel, and reporting.
• Organize retirement and disposal of fleet vehicles.
• Research and resolve vehicle issues with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Oversee processes addressing traffic violations related to company vehicles.
• Coordinate database support for Fleet applications and projects.
• Develop reports to support performance indicators.
• Environmental SPOC for Fleet audits and emergencies.
• Project management of fleet initiatives to improve safety, cost, and metrics.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and business procedures.
