Job summary

Exelon Corporation, a major U.S. energy company, seeks a Fleet Operations professional to support fleet maintenance facilities, maximize performance, and minimize costs.

You will work with customer organizations and affiliates to meet requirements for vehicles and equipment, developing strategies to keep Fleet Services competitive. The role involves extended hours for storms or emergencies and will require collaboration with management and executive leadership to identify repair trends and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering with 4–7 years related experience
• Alternative: Associate's Degree in Engineering or Automotive tech with 5–8 years relevant experience OR 6–9 years relevant experience
• Proven Leadership ability in a high performance work culture
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies including technology and performance
• Proven high performance in safety
• Demonstrated expertise in technical and diagnostic skills
• Experience with forensic accident investigation processes (Root Cause Analysis/Failure Analysis)
• Working knowledge of local, state and federal transportation regulations, procedures and processes
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of vehicular operational systems and Fleet technology
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Passport, Access, Mainframe Applications and Fleet Management System (M5)

Responsibilities

• Governance and oversight of Fleet asset management, fuel management, and reporting.
• Organize and lead retirement and disposal of fleet vehicles.
• Research and resolve vehicle operation issues with manufacturers, vendors, and energy delivery groups.
• Oversight of process to address traffic violations related to company vehicles.
• Identify and implement database support for Fleet applications and projects.
• Develop reports for data collection and performance indicators.
• Environmental SPOC for all Fleet audits and emergencies.
• Project management of special Fleet initiatives to improve safety and costs.
• Assist in disaster recovery plans and business procedures for Fleet Services.
• Manage vehicle licensing and registration processes.
• Manage vehicle repair warranty recovery process.
