The Town of Estes Park seeks qualified applicants for Mechanic II/III. The role is open until filled with first review by November 15, 2026, and may close early. Under the Lead Mechanic and Fleet Supervisor, you will diagnose, repair, and service electric, gasoline, and diesel engines, drive trains, hydraulics, and related systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Two or more ASE certifications or readiness to obtain? (as described)

Responsabilités

• Inspect, diagnose, and maintain a variety of fleet units including heavy and light-duty vehicles.
• Track and document services; maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and conduct road tests.
• Prepare units for sale/trade; outfit new units for service.
