Job summary

Cox Fleet, based in Saint Petersburg, FL, is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance – Fleet Supervisor to join its Management Team. The role focuses on supervising, leading and applying technical expertise to employees and shop locations, driving cost-effective maintenance programs and strong customer service.

You will oversee scheduling, vehicle compliance, data accuracy, and efficiency initiatives, while maintaining safety and performance across the fleet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in management or lead role.
• Knowledge of fleet management software and Microsoft programs.
• Ability to perform data analysis and make policy recommendations.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage team on all vehicle operations including maintenance, reporting, assignments, scheduling, and vehicle compliance.
• Provide training, coaching, time management, and performance reviews for team members.
• Establish relationships with local business partners to enforce fleet policies and standards.
• Assist management in executing operational plans and improving efficiencies.
• Ensure safety measures and zero injuries in the work environment.
• Interact with customers to resolve escalated service issues and support during incidents.
• Maintain vendor relationships and optimize team resource use.
