Qualifications

• Six years of experience in automobile, truck, light or heavy duty road equipment, combustion engines or chassis maintenance and repair, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and minor preventative maintenance service on state vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic problems.
• Operate diagnostic tools and computer software.
• Weld and fabricate.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Inspect and test equipment for safety and proper working order.
• Plan, layout, and direct operations of a repair facility within the agency's responsibilities.
