Qualifications

• 5 years of facilities management experience.
• 3 years working with refrigeration systems within cold chain distribution.
• Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams, budgets, and vendor contracts.
• Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, GMP, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with CMMS and data analytics to drive performance improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Operations, Engineering, Construction or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor maintenance, grounds, sanitation, refrigeration, power equipment, and security maintenance.
• Oversee refrigeration systems to maintain temperature control for perishable products.
• Manage facility operations activities, capital projects, and budgets.
• Lead safety culture and enforce company policies.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff performance; manage labor hours and schedules.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with insurance and hold harmless documents.
• Oversee asset lifecycle, budgeting, and warranty processes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation programs.
• Coordinate with QA and sanitation teams for compliance and inspections.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and documented.
