Job summary

Civicworks is seeking a Senior Fixed Assets Analyst to manage the Virginia DMV's fixed assets portfolio, ensuring GAAP/GASB/CAPP compliance and accurate records across FAACS, LAS Plus, Cardinal Financials, and Oracle EBS. You will reconcile data, oversee annual inventories, and prepare year-end reports.

The role collaborates with multiple DMV departments and the Controller's Office to support audit readiness and process modernization.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of governmental accounting principles including GAAP, GASB, and CAPP Manual as applied to fixed assets and leases.
• Experience maintaining complex fixed assets and lease records with demonstrated ability to analyze data and prepare reconciliations and reports.
• Experience with financial or asset management systems and ability to research complex accounting issues and recommend solutions.
• Documented experience serving as a technical resource to financial and non‑financial stakeholders and managing multiple priorities.
• Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools.
• Verifiable experience with systems such as FAACS, LAS Plus, Cardinal Financials, or Oracle EBS.
