Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including fixed asset accounting leadership.
• 3+ years leading accounting or finance professionals.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and capitalization policies.
• Experience with consolidated financial reporting and intercompany accounting.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial systems like Blackline and Hyperion.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and coach a team of accounting professionals in fixed asset accounting and capitalization.
• Maintain capitalization policies and governance across the organization.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting activities: additions, transfers, disposals, depreciation, reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close for fixed assets with accurate reporting.
• Ensure intercompany and related-party fixed asset transactions are identified and reconciled.
• Coordinate consolidated fixed asset reporting and analysis.
• Develop and monitor fixed asset internal controls for compliance.
• Oversee fixed asset audit activities with internal and external audits.
• Analyze complex transactions to support accurate reporting.
• Partner with Strategy, Operations, and other leaders on capital projects.
• Review CIP activity and transfer completed projects to service.
• Develop capitalization metrics and present insights to senior leadership.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve fixed asset processes and data integrity.
• Other duties as assigned.
