Job summary

Flint Hills Resources in Wichita, KS seeks a Sr. Analyst, Fixed Assets to ensure accurate fixed asset accounting and reporting in line with US GAAP. You will partner across the organization to improve processes and deliver insights that support decision-making.

You will own asset accounting, depreciation forecasts, and lifecycle spend while leveraging AI and data-driven solutions to automate and strengthen controls, creating sustainable value for the business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting or tax experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Experience with fixed assets accounting software is preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrity of fixed asset accounting, reporting, and financial controls in accordance with US GAAP and company principles.
• Provide fixed asset reporting, depreciation forecasts, and recommendations for planning and value creation.
• Oversee lifecycle of turnaround spend with accurate tracking, capitalization, reporting, and process improvement.
• Partner across accounting, tax, operations, compliance, and other teams to create value.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives using analytics to deliver results.
• Identify opportunities to automate fixed asset processes using AI and data solutions.
• Expand ownership by developing capabilities and sharing knowledge across teams.
