Job summary

Clearway Energy Group seeks a Senior Accountant, Fixed Assets to oversee the fixed asset lifecycle from capitalization to disposal. You will lead month-end close, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and support audits while improving processes with data analytics and AI tools.

Hybrid role based in Princeton, NJ. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 4 years of relevant experience, with strong ERP and internal controls knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
• 4+ years of experience in general accounting and/or financial reporting.
• Knowledge of ERP accounting systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and internal controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Enter new fixed assets and changes into the fixed assets accounting system.
• Coordinate with departments to obtain information to properly account for fixed assets.
• Close month-end and prepare journal entries for fixed assets, including reconciliations.
• Prepare fixed asset roll-forwards and schedules for SEC disclosures and financial statements.
