Job summary

Toyota North America in Plano, TX, is seeking a Sr. Asset Management Analyst – Accounting & Finance to lead a global team in managing fixed assets. You will oversee month-end close, asset data accuracy, depreciation, capital forecasts, and audits, partnering with manufacturing, purchasing and IT to ensure SOX compliance and transparent reporting.

This role emphasizes process improvements, automation, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

GAAP knowledge and ability to interpret financial data.
Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with fixed asset accounting concepts and tooling.
Ability to lead a cross-functional team and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

Oversee financial close for multiple locations, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Maintain fixed asset records across locations and entities with accuracy.
Review capital requests and ensure proper accounting treatment throughout asset life cycle.
Lead annual asset inventories and capital forecast activities.
Prepare reports for senior management and external auditors.
Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve data integrity.
Collaborate with IT, operations, and purchasing to integrate asset accounting.
Lead training and process improvements in the fixed asset group.
