Job summary

Toyota Motor North America is seeking a Senior Asset Management Analyst – Accounting & Finance to lead a team handling capital asset activities, financial close, and asset inventories across multiple locations. You will ensure data accuracy, support capital project reviews, and present findings to senior management.

The role requires GAAP expertise, CPA preferred, and strong collaboration across manufacturing, IT, and operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field.
• Highly organized with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Detail-oriented with data integrity focus.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Fixed asset accounting experience including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, transfers, leases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fixed asset accounting for multiple locations, including journals and reconciliations.
• Manage asset data accuracy, disposals, settlements, and master data maintenance.
• Lead annual asset inventories and capital forecast activities.
• Prepare and present monthly results to senior management and auditors.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, manufacturing, and purchasing to optimize processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate tasks and improve data integrity.
• Support SOX compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Drive process improvements and cross-functional training.
