Job summary

Toyota seeks a passionate Asset Management Sr. Analyst – Accounting & Finance to lead fixed asset activities across locations, drive close processes, and ensure accurate capitalization, depreciation, and inventories.

You will partner with manufacturing, purchasing, IT, and finance to review capital requests, implement improvements, and report to senior management and external auditors. Strong GAAP knowledge and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field.
• Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven analytical abilities with large data sets and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate across Manufacturing, Finance, Purchasing and Operations.
• Experience implementing tools, analytics, and processes to increase efficiency.
• Proficiency in financial systems, including ERP and fixed asset software.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to guide cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial close for multiple locations, including journal entries and variance analysis.
• Maintain and enhance fixed asset management across locations/entities.
• Review capital requests with project owners and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Enforce capitalization, depreciation, and disposal policies per accounting principles.
• Present financial information to Senior Management and external auditors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and data quality.
• Collaborate with IT and Operations to integrate fixed asset processes.
• Lead a fixed asset accounting group and provide training and alignment.
