Job summary

HID Global, headquartered in Austin, TX, is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer in Eden Prairie, MN to design, develop, and maintain platform software solutions. You will work with firmware, electrical, mechanical, and QA teams to deliver robust software that meets security and performance targets.

You will analyze requirements, participate in architecture discussions, and help drive coding standards, code reviews, and development processes across a cross-functional organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 4+ years of related software engineering experience, with level alignment based on experience, technical depth, and scope of ownership.
• Experience with platform software solutions development using object-oriented programming languages such as C, C++, or C#.
• Experience with Agile methodologies; JIRA experience a plus.
• Knowledge of SAFe desired.
