Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7+ years embedded firmware development experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SAFe is desirable.
• 4–7+ years in embedded device development using C/C++.
• Ability to use oscilloscopes, analyzers, and power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate embedded solution requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to gather and define product requirements.
• Assist in product design and architecture development.
• Design, develop, and maintain embedded solutions.
• Facilitate and assist in task estimation.
• Work in a cross-functional team of firmware, electrical, mechanical, QA, product, and support professionals.
• Investigate and analyze defects and resolve them promptly.
• Provide status updates and communicate issues to the team.
• Prepare, present, and participate in technical discussions and code reviews.
• Contribute to processes and practices to improve efficiency and quality.
• Work with departments to improve products, processes, workflows, and customer experience.
• Recommend and assist with new processes and tools.
• Consult with engineers to evaluate hardware interfaces, embedded solutions, and system requirements.
