Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to lead real-time, bare‑metal firmware and embedded systems. You will translate product requirements into embedded software, drive design, implementation, testing, and on‑time delivery with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities include peer‑reviewing code, building test procedures, optimizing resources, and mentoring junior engineers. Domestic/international travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

BS in computer engineering, CS, or EE; strong embedded software background.
5+ years of embedded C/C++ experience in real-time systems.
Experience with bare-metal firmware and RTOS.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of real-time firmware and embedded systems.
Drive hardware-software integration and verification.
Peer-review software designs and source code.
Establish test procedures for software applications.
Mentor junior engineers and drive project milestones.
