Job summary
Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Firmware Engineer to lead design of real-time, bare-metal firmware and embedded systems, interfacing with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust software.
You'll drive agile development, establish test procedures, review code, and mentor junior engineers while traveling up to 10% and applying lab skills with oscilloscopes and data acquisition systems. The role requires a BS in a relevant field and 5+ years in embedded C/C++, RTOS, and CI/CD,
Qualifications
- 5+ years of embedded C/C++ experience.
- Experience with bare-metal firmware designs.
- Knowledge of DevOps, automated testing, CI/CD.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Experience with a microcontroller RTOS.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and testing of real-time bare-metal firmware.
- Translate marketing and user needs into embedded requirements.
- Lead embedded software design using modern processes.
