Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Firmware Engineer II to join the Engineering Team in developing firmware for batteries, motors, and electronics powering professional tools. You’ll design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded systems with a focus on real-time performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with global engineers, mentors, and suppliers while driving projects to milestones. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of embedded C/C++ experience are required with travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer/Electrical/Software Eng. or related field.
• 2+ years of embedded C/C++ experience.
• Willingness to travel 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded systems for real-time applications.
• Develop test plans and procedures for firmware and subsystems.
