Job summary

Robinson, Farmer, Cox Associates, LLC. is seeking a Firm Administrator to supervise operations, finance, and staff development across five Virginia offices from Charlottesville. The role focuses on operational excellence, collaboration, and talent development rather than new business growth.

The administrator reports to the Executive Committee and Managing Director, supporting meetings, budgets, and vendor management while ensuring compliance and continuity in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of administrative leadership experience in a professional services or accounting firm setting.
• Understanding of accounting and tax workflows, financial management, and firm operations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the firm including financial activity, office communications, and workflow management.
• Lead vendor relationships, IT coordination, and process improvements across offices.
• Monitor cash flow, billing, AR, and monthly financial reporting; support risk management and compliance.
• Coordinate firm-wide integration, standardization, and staff training across multiple offices.
• Support partner meetings, policy development, and staff performance evaluations.
