Qualifications

• Must have a degree in accounting.
• Understanding of commercial and governmental accounting concepts.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources.
• Ability to organize and schedule tasks to completion.
• Strong verbal communication skills in groups.
• Experience with client communications and audits is a plus.
• Minimum years of experience preferred: 1 year

Responsibilities

• Participates in the preparation of balance sheets, P&L statements, and other financial reports.
• Analyzes trends, costs, revenues, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Performs tests of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenditures.
• Prepares audit-related spreadsheets and entries.
• Communicates with clients regarding audit matters with supervisor approval.
• Prepares federal and state tax returns for review.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
