Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is actively seeking a Sprinkler Service Technician II-III to inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems for safety and compliance. You will work with clients, contractors, and authorities to address issues and ensure system integrity.

Responsibilities include NFPA-aligned inspections, detailed reporting, system testing, and on-site fixes. A valid license, NFPA familiarity, and strong troubleshooting are required; a sign-on bonus is offered and pay ranges

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years experience in servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial fire sprinkler systems.
• NICET certifications strongly preferred.
• VA Backflow DPOR, preferred.
• Solid understanding of NFPA 13, NFPA 25 and relevant building and fire codes.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fire alarm systems or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems to ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Prepare detailed reports of inspection findings, tests, and deficiencies per NFPA standards.
• Test and evaluate functionality of sprinkler heads, valves, piping, pumps, and control systems.
• Inspect piping and fittings for corrosion or leaks and recommend repairs.
• Perform maintenance tasks and replacements to ensure optimal performance.
• Document all service activities thoroughly using the Service Trade platform.
• Collaborate with Deficiency Sellers to provide inspection reports and repair estimates.
• Interact professionally with clients to schedule work and discuss findings.
