Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC has an immediate opening for a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician. You will inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems to ensure safety and regulatory compliance, working closely with clients, contractors, and authorities.

You will prepare detailed inspection reports, evaluate system functionality, and support repairs and upgrades in line with NFPA standards. The company emphasizes safety, quality, and service across the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 25 requirements.
• Ability to prepare detailed inspection and test reports.
• Strong client communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of wet, dry and pre-action fire sprinkler systems, to identify and address deficiencies per NFPA 25.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings and test results.
• Test and evaluate system functionality of sprinkler heads, valves, piping, pumps, and control systems.
• Inspect piping, fittings, and connections for corrosion, leaks or damage; recommend repairs or replacements.
• Perform maintenance tasks on sprinkler systems and replace damaged components.
• Inspect fire pump assemblies, including testing flow rates and pressures.
• Respond to service calls, diagnose issues, and restore system functionality.
• Document all service activities using the Service Trade platform.
• Interact with clients to schedule work and discuss findings.
• Coordinate with service coordinators to optimize work orders and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
