Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to inspect, maintain and repair fire sprinkler systems, ensuring NFPA compliance and safety for clients. The role requires a CO State Fitter License (or eligibility), NICET preferred, and a valid driver's license with travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fire alarm systems or related field preferred.
• CO State Fitter License is required for consideration; NICET certifications are strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of fire protection codes, standards, and NFPA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of wet, dry and pre-action sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 25.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and assess deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
• Test, evaluate and maintain sprinkler heads, valves, piping, pumps, and control systems.
• Inspect piping and connections for corrosion, leaks, or damage; perform recommended repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments for optimal performance.
• Test fire pump assemblies for flow, pressure and mechanical integrity.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies; diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Document all service activities and material usage in the Service Trade platform.
• Collaborate with Deficiency Sellers and Service Coordinators to prepare estimates and schedule work.
• Engage professionally with clients to discuss findings and recommend upgrades.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment and follow safety procedures.
