Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a field-service team member to perform quality inspections on life-safety product lines and related equipment.

You will inspect, test, service, install and maintain systems, including low voltage wiring and related devices, ensuring accurate documentation of inspections and follow-up on required actions. Ideal candidates will perform under supervision, complete tasks on schedule, and be willing to travel to client sites with a strong focus on safety and customer

Qualifications

• 5–10 years documented experience in sprinkler systems.
• Able to obtain and retain licenses required by National, State and Local codes.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and manuals.
• Experience with hand tools and multimeter usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of life safety product lines and similar manufacturer products.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, servicing, installing and preventive maintenance.
• Work with low voltage wiring for operation of low voltage equipment.
• Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding via laptops or paper.
• Maintain a structured inspection schedule and archival of reports.
• Make minor repairs and programming changes under supervision.
• Complete assigned inspections on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
