Johnson Controls, Inc. is hiring an inspector to conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines.

You will document deficiencies, represent the company professionally, and complete inspections with proper coding using laptops or mobile devices. The role requires NICET I/II or ability to obtain, reading blueprints, hand tools, and physical stamina.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• NICET I certification or ability to obtain within 8 months of hire.
• NICET II certification or ability to obtain within 24 months of hire.
• Able to obtain and retain any licenses required by codes.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specs, schematics and manuals.
• Experience with hand tools and multimeter usage.
• Capable of physical labor up to 50–70 lbs.
• Able to travel out of town.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Able to pass pre-employment background and drug test.

Aufgaben

• Inspect and test electrical, sprinkler or suppression life safety products.
• Meet customer expectations during inspections and ensure quality.
• Document deficiencies found during inspections.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Complete service acknowledgements/inspections with proper coding via devices.
• Maintain a structured inspection schedule.
• Perform minor repairs and programming changes on inspected systems.
• Complete assigned inspections on time.
• Perform other duties as directed.
