Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Foreman to install sprinkler heads, valves, and steel/CPVC piping in new builds and renovations. The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with GC and crews, and ensuring timely, on-budget project completion.

You will supervise and train sprinkler fitters, enforce safety protocols, and manage material ordering and tool maintenance on site. A strong mechanical aptitude and experience in fire protection systems are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; NICET preferred.
• 5–10 years' experience installing fire sprinkler systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and coordinate with GC/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Cut, fabricate and install steel and CPVC pipe as designed for fire sprinkler systems.
• Install and hang pipe, sprinkler heads, fittings, and hangers per blueprints.
• Read blueprints and construction documents to ensure proper installation.
• Coordinate schedules with general contractor and other trades.
• Maintain project documentation and daily progress reports.
• Train Sprinkler Fitters and Apprentices on job duties.
• Follow safety programs and participate in toolbox talks.
