Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Foreman to install sprinkler heads, valves, and steel/CPVC pipe in new and renovated structures with minimal supervision. You will read blueprints, fabricate piping, install equipment, and ensure on-time project completion while coordinating with the general contractor and other crews.

The role requires strong field leadership, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across jobs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• NICET Certification preferred.
• Must have experience installing fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities

• Cut, fabricate and install steel pipe and CPVC pipe for fire sprinkler systems.
• Install and hang pipes, sprinkler heads, fittings, hangers and other fire protection components per blueprints.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure proper construction.
• Attend job meetings and coordinate schedules with GC and other contractors.
• Ensure project timelines are met and documentation is submitted on time.
• Lead and train Sprinkler Fitters and Apprentices on all aspects of their job.
