Job summary

Summit-Fire- seeks a Fire Sprinkler Fitter to install sprinkler heads, valves, and steel and CPVC pipes in new and renovated buildings with minimal supervision. You will read blueprints, install components, and ensure safety and accuracy on each project.

The role requires 3–5 years of pipe installation experience, the ability to work alone or in a team, strong math and problem‑solving skills, and a valid driver’s license. Local travel and a safety‑minded approach are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience installing pipe systems and valves.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills, mechanical aptitude and problem solving are required.

Responsibilities

• Cut, fabricate, and install steel and CPVC pipe as designed for fire sprinkler systems.
• Install and hang pipe, sprinkler heads, fittings, valves, hangers and other components per blueprints.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure correct construction of sprinkler systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and properly store tools and materials.
• Report progress to field foreman and assist in training apprentices.
