Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Engineer III for its Mission Critical practice in the United States. The role focuses on designing building systems, coordinating with project teams, and mentoring junior designers while ensuring adherence to design guidelines and standards.

The candidate will lead technical tasks, participate in business development activities, and maintain client relationships, with a focus on scalable and reliable fire protection solutions across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or 8 years with high school diploma.
• PE license required; FE exam preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu; strong MS Office.
• Experience in design, coordination, and leading designers.

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs basic to advanced engineering systems with a high degree of independence.
• Prepares basic to advanced system layouts, detailed drawings and schematics.
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Prepares, reviews, and/or modifies reports, plans and designs for projects.
• Produces design documents.
• Provides technical guidance to others and serves as a team leader.
• Supports project management activities and coordinates with clients and partners.
