Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Engineer III to design and coordinate fire suppression systems for mission-critical projects. You will prepare calculations, layouts, and detailed drawings, review shop drawings, and provide technical guidance to teammates.

You will work within the Mission Critical practice, collaborating with project teams, attending client meetings, and supporting business development while advancing your PE credentials and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 6+ years (or 8+ with HS) in related field.
• PE license required; may count toward experience.
• FE exam preferred; additional certifications (e.g., CDP, LEED) preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs basic to advanced engineering systems.
• Prepares system layouts, drawings and schematics.
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance to plans and specs.
• Provides technical guidance to others and mentors junior staff.
• Manages project tasks under supervision of senior PMs.
