Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Engineer III for our Mission Critical practice in the United States. The role focuses on designing building systems, mentoring junior designers, and coordinating with project teams to deliver high-quality designs.

You will lead with Revit and Bluebeam Revu while communicating with clients and participating in business development activities. A PE license and strong leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required with 6 years of experience or 8 years with a high school diploma.
• PE license is required and may count toward 1 year of experience.
• FE exam completion is preferred.
• Additional certifications (e.g., BEMP, CPD, CDP, NICET, RCDD) preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design, codes and standards is expected.
• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs basic to advanced engineering systems with independence.
• Prepares system layouts, drawings and schematics.
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance to plans and specs.
• Produces design documents and reports for projects.
• Provides technical guidance to others and leads a project team.
